Catherine Zeta-Jones has moved to silence speculation about her husband Michael Douglas' health by flying to China for a celebrity golf tournament, insisting "it's business as usual in our family".
The Oscar-winning actor was diagnosed with throat cancer over the summer and he recently completed a course of radiation and chemotherapy. Douglas was pictured looking thin and frail earlier this month, prompting speculation the star's health has taken a turn for the worse.
The "Wall Street" star's representative denied the rumors and Zeta-Jones has now shrugged off the gossip by leaving her husband behind in New York while she embarks on a trip to China to take part in the Star Trophy celebrity pro-am tournament.
When asked about her husband's health, the Chicago star replied, "It's business as usual in our family." Zeta-Jones also admitted playing golf helps take her mind off her worries: "There's nothing better than just having nothing else to focus on than a still white ball, and nobody's looking. I find it very therapeutic, and even if you can't hit the ball that particular day, there's a privacy and a kind of zen quality to golf that I love."
